A. Weather Machines furnace repair technicians work on gas furnaces or electric furnaces, and provide a services to suit your specific heating and air requirements.
Q. How much does a repair cost?
A. There are lots of variables to take into consideration when doing a repair, once the technician arrives and diagnoses the problem, he will write up the cost of the repairs and go over the pricing with you. If you approve the price, we will do the repairs at that time if he has the proper parts available on the truck. Otherwise, we will have to locate the parts and reschedule a time to come back.
Q. I want a new piece of equipment, but I don’t know what the right system is for me?
A. Whether you would like a new condenser, heater, or coil, Weather Machines will do a whole house heat gain and loss calculation to determine the right equipment for your home (No guess work).
Q. How often should I replace my filters?
A. For optimum efficiency and filtration, we recommend that you replace your disposable filters at least once a month. If you have washable filters, they should be cleaned once a month.
Q. What are the advantages of a programmable thermostat?
A. Different programmable thermostats offer many different features. However, because they are electronic, they are all more accurate and efficient than thermostats that contain mercury. With programmable thermostats you can control the temperature in your home at different times of day without ever touching your thermostat. Because everything is automatic, you will never forget to change the setting on your own.
Q. Can I get same day service?
A. We value each and every customer, and we will do our BEST to get you same day service.
Q. How will I know what time a technician will be arriving?
A. When you call Weather Machines and schedule a time, our staff will give you a 2 hour window of time. Our staff will then dispatch your information to a technician. All technicians call when they are in route to notify the customer that they are scheduled to their location.
Q. Will the repair be done the same day as the technician arrives at my home?
A. Each service call is unique. Our trucks are fully stocked with parts and we are prepared each and every day to do repair service calls, however, if your repair requires a non-stock part, our technician will call you once we locate the proper part and re-schedule another visit out to your location. If the part is on our truck, absolutely your repair will be done same day as the technician arrives.
Q. Who will be arriving at my house? I want someone with lots of experience.
A. All of our technicians at Weather Machines are licensed. Each and every person is highly skilled and well trained in the field of HVAC. Throughout the year, they all take classes so they have expertise knowledge in this industry. They are also EPA certified.
Q. I will still be at work, however, can my son or daughter let the technician in to do the repair?
A. Our technicians do not have a problem working at your residence while the homeowner isn’t home, however, someone 18 years or older MUST be present and have a method of payment for the service call.
Q: Will you take care of our house?
A: Weather Machines will treat your house as it is their own. Weather Machines Techs use drop clothes and booties. Weather Machine Techs vaquim, sweep, and clean up in cluding material in attic and under house. “We sweep nothing under the rug!”
